India wins series in Kiwiland after 41 years
India registers a test-series win against the Kiwis
in kiwiland, to make history.
This win comes after a long wait of 41 years,
with almost every player of the Indian team,
contributing his own bit to make
this into a successful series.
Also, there were quite a few other records that were made by the Indian players.
Firstly, Sachin 'The Master-Blaster' Tendulkar, in his usual self, making another test record with every run added to his already huge pile-up of gigatons of runs, and upon that also making the Highest number of Centuries in Test cricket.
Secondly,
Rahul 'The Catcher' Dravid,
again in his usual self,
takes down another Aussie to dust,
as he surpasses Mark Waugh's(Aus) record of
Highest Number of Catches in Test Cricket ever,
and with no other current cricketer,
trailing no where close to
Dravid's world record of 182 catches, this record has no intention
of falling for quite some time to come.
These were moments to cherish, as the Indian Cricket team & its players kept on making records during those test matches.
We are Thankful to M.S.Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and the Gang to give us such wonderful moments to remember.
